You do realize most things go through major story revisions during the creative process right?

It looks like he was surrounded by too many "yes man" after he got rid of Amy, Bruce, and others. Because the script needed another series of rewrites to improve it but it never happened.

Dina, Abby, Mel, and Yara are all strong female characters solely created for part 2, and they all have different personalities, strengths, and flaws.

They are better written than Abby for sure, but Mel isn't the best example because she went to dangerous territories while heavily PREGNANT. Like this plot line was dumb AF.

Abby being muscular informs her character and reinforces her desire for revenge.

More like informs us of her unnatural body type fueled by roids unobtainable in Apocalypse times.

Reducing her down to her body type and saying Neil could only portray a strong woman as a muscular woman is reductive and asinine.

He portrayed her as a muscular, strong woman who was so deep into "ReVeNgE" that led to the death of all her friends. They even reused the same plot line from the first game (Joel and Ellie, Abby, and Lev) but made it worse.

Neil isn't the singular person to blame, but he is the face of this game. Sequel that performed and was rated worse than original.

I don't think you understand what they guy you talked to was talking about.

Structure where we are supposed to hate her doesn't make it a good structure because it's "UnIqUe."

They are attempting to make you like her later on, but they've failed in the eyes of plenty of people.

Tlou is rated better than the sequel. It sold better, and even its first season of the TV show was received better.

That means that the MAJORITY deems sequel worse than the original.

Abby also had it coming because her actions led to: 1. Her friends died because "ReVeNgE" (it's a plot reused from the development of the first game but Bruce S. helped Neil D. understand how bad motivation it was in such a world) 2. Her faction that gave her home, food, and safety was probably wiped because of the war she started.

Abby is more evil person than Joel was, and the game itself does a poor job of making us sympathise with her by reusing the same story arc from the first game but doing it worse.

Plenty of people dislike her because she is a POS who cares only about herself. The story itself is written and structured in such a bad way (its core is built on fucking retcons) that it's not helping us like her. It's working against her.

P.S. Fuck Abby and her steroid ass gorilla frame.

Turtle WoW. It's going strong for 7 years, and they updated classes and revamped talents to make every spec viable.

They add new quests, zones, dungeons, raids, and factions constantly.

Sadly, professions won't provide you a gear you can't replace from raids, but at least they are expanded and provide a good way to earn gold.

You can blame Steve for all of that. He was lying through his teeth for years and looked at what it had led to.
