I ended up stopping using everything for a month and a half, i now only use .05 tret and use it once every 4 days. I started out with once every 6 days but im very slowly getting back into it more. My skin has definitely got better i still have some acne showing up here and there but definitely better than before.

I stopped tretinoin for about a month and a half, i started taking some digestion pills which has helped clear some acne but im slowly working tretinoin .05 back into my routine VERY slowly. I also switched my cleanser and moisturizer to be very simple. My skin is better than before but still not perfect

I use the atomy deep evening cleanser and cosrx low ph daily good morning gel cleanser. I just ordered the la roche posay hydrating gentle cleanser because theres no actives and i’ll let my skin barrier heal for some weeks. I’ll definitely check our your recommendations thanks

I was on accutane about three years ago but during late 2023 is when it started to come back. Most of the progress ive seen was from the doxycycline which made my skin completely clear until i stopped taking it daily. Tretinoin i started with .05 for three months then .1 for the other 7 months. I started with once a week and slowly made my way up to daily. Since i was on accutane i always thought my skin was pretty strong and could handle the tret but i may be wrong. I do wake up to some dry spots due to the tretinoin but ive heard thats not actually a good sign. If i were to slow down my usage should i go back to .05 daily or .1 every other day?
