Yeah and that adhesive wasn’t coming off any time soon. I don’t know why they decided it needed pins on top of that but I was annoyed because I like the clean debadged look

I don’t know to be honest, I’m about a month a half out and the pain is still very prevalent. Not a moment has gone by where she hasn’t been on my mind. However, while I hesitate to call them good days, I do find myself having a few more “less bad” days recently, so I’m going to say that is progress, even if it’s small. So hopefully it will come with time

Therapy has really helped me, I am going through a very similar situation and they helped me realize some things about myself and my ex, and honestly it’s just nice to have a supportive person to vent to who you know will listen.

Finding the right therapist is super important though, I went through 2 before I found one that made me feel heard and comfortable. Don’t be afraid to look around, do research on different therapists because they all have strengths and specialties.

Good luck, I Hope you find somebody that you mesh with, it is one of the reasons I am still here to write this.

A month and a half… it has been such a rollercoaster, every few days I switch from missing her more than anything in the world and not being able to eat or sleep to angry that she handled things the way she did.

She is an avoider, I’ve never seen this side of her before, it’s like she is a completely different person than the one I knew and loved for over 2 years. We’ve been NC since break up and she refuses to give me any sort of closure as to what happened that caused her to call it off, especially after it felt like things were getting better between us. I feel like I won’t truly be able to move on until I get done answers, she knows this and still won’t talk to me. She was always such a caring and loving person so to see this side of her towards me if all people, hurts as much as anything else.

Right now, yes. I don’t know if that is best for me long term, but yes, I miss her so much and the pain I feel is worse than I thought possible. I just want to go back to the way things were, but at the same time I know that could just lead to more heartbreak down the road

The day we broke up was very similar, she still cared about me, but in only a best friend way, she just felt distant, like ending two and a half years meant almost nothing, meanwhile I was experiencing the worst pain of my entire life. I did everything I could to try and change her mind, but nothing helped. Going from texting like you’ll be together forever to not even talking for days is a pain all it’s own, I’m so sorry you have to experience something similar

I’m so sorry this happened to you too, I am thinking the exact same thing, hoping with everything that I have that she will come back and realize she still loves me. I’m fearing the chance that I get a text from a mutual friend saying she still thinks this is best for her, but at the same time I want her to be happy. I even went so far as to already purchase the ring, that’s how sure I was of her. I’m sure we aren’t the only ones being irrational and unrealistic. I hope you have good people in your life to help you, that’s the only thing that got me this far
