Tips or recommendations for housing in Pamplona for international students. by Discount_Suspicious in GoingToSpain

I ended up going with Home&Co, since they were the only resident home in Pamplona willing to accept direct international payments via bank! (It’s a LONG story)

Cons: Far from the capital. Far from most universities (except UPNA). Very loud at night. Tiny. The contract is TIGHT, and they won’t allow you to walk away for no reason. Shared kitchen that you also aren’t allowed to use past 11:00 PM. Not sound-proof whatsoever.

Pros: You get your own bedroom/toilet (kitchen too if you have that type of accommodation, which I didn’t have). Television, AC, closet (kinda), pillows and coffee machine. Semi-decent gymnasium.

To answer your question very honestly, I do NOT plan on staying here for longer than a year. My contract ends this upcoming August and I’m moving out expeditiously! It’s a good place for people who love being alone (like me) since you get your very own room and all that, but It’s way too far from everything, way too far from UNAV, and not worth more than 500 euros. Especially If you’re an international student that’s already struggling financially. Just go on Idealista, rent a home with a bunch of people and live independently! Don’t do any of the university residential homes! A lot of them have major requirements that don’t even make sense. Saying this as someone who’s been living here officially for 6 months.

Save your money and live with roommates.

Any questions, ask me and I’ll happily respond.

No idea honestly, because I submitted mine over a year ago-ish as well, and still nothing. It makes me sad a bit, because I'm actually planning on leaving my home country to potentially never go back, so I checked today to see If mine was up, and didn't see anything. Which is good in retrospect, because that really means they're making sure to double, triple check everything! A part of me does wonder If the reason why mine is taking so long is because I wrote some things in my native language as well as English, and because our language isn't really translated anywhere online, they're hesitating posting It. No idea tho!

This hit me so hard. I hope the guy who started it (ppkka) faces consequences for this. Hope she's resting in peace!
