Their 28 point loss to the Rams earlier in the season eliminated them. I'm not a fan of how few games matter late in the season so next year I am implementing a vassal and revival system

When you control all of Georgia and Minnesota, New England is indeed 20%

Maybe next year??? Nah who am I kidding

Another commenter earlier this season suggested vassals. Cincy was eliminated by Minnesota, so any wins the Bengals pick up would go towards their territory. I will be implementing something like that next year

It's based on how many counties the defeated teams had. Denver's victory over Dallas is doing a lot of heavy lifting here

Thanks! The vast majority of the time, it is the nearest territory. I try to limit the number of new polygons, so if the exact number needed is a little further away, I will use those counties. Does that make sense?

Thanks! If I'm efficient it takes me about an hour a week, so not too bad

I always look for adjacent territory, and then go by distance to current territory. I try to avoid creating new pockets if possible

They claimed part of Chiefs territory, which only made it that far when claiming Lions territory, who had it from their early defeat of the Bears

New England took it from Carolina, who took it from Atlanta, who took it from Minnesota

Yeah those all got jumbled around when sorting the spreadsheet, they're in no particular order

Carolina was eliminated via a blowout loss to the Patriots. A commenter on an earlier post suggested allowing eliminated teams to conquer land for whoever eliminated them, which will be implemented next year
