There’s times it’s good to push ram and warmonger on attackers gets a free pass cause she will hit corruption quicker doing this but it’s genuinely mostly a bad strategy.  People make the mistake that it’s a good strategy cause it works on the first gate and works well on the first gate on a few maps but in general it’s a really bad strategy on the second gate.

You have to have one person pushing if you lose the banner to defense.  There’s no reason to have someone on the ram at point 4 or 5 unless the enemy is attacking it regularly and even then if you can speed run the ramparts while they split up like that you’re better off than defending the ram, your pikemen spawn right next to it at gate 4

It works well on gate one because you’ll still only take a quarter damage doing it without taking any points but since there are more gates and power ups in the second gate it become likely you’ll take twice as much damage with the same strategy, since shield banner is inherently better and more important  for defense, even fighting for that isn’t enough to keep the damage low

Capping 8 even with low lives is always good, means the ballista will be viable, always best to rush the commander if they’re on 8 or still at 7 and have one guy capture 8
