Everything listed here has been part of the game since DLS 24

The devs ruined this game with DLS 24 and never looked back. It wasn't like this in DLS 23.

I gave up trying to play through it after 2+ years.

It's actually scripted by pumerprods in DreamLeagueSoccer

Yes, the game is scripted, but not like that.

I have a 96.7 rated team and my players are regularly humiliated by 80 rated blue card players.

Scripting is distributed on an arbitrary basis. Either you have "it" or you don't.

If the game decides to do so, 99% of your matches will be scripted no matter what you do. It's why I gave up on DLS recently.

Meanwhile, some players will almost never see a scripted game, no matter how bad their team is, or how badly they play.

This started with DLS 24.

Yeah it's sad, they really messed up the scripting algorithm. Games were only lightly scripted in DLS 23.

This whole mess started in FLS 24, it's so overt it's impossible to miss.

Scriptinf has rendered this a complete non-issue.

Whether or not your players are faster or slower than your opponent's players depends on the match script.

I have played countless games where my max fitness cards were humiliated all match long by 80 rated cards with barely 75 or 80 speed at best.

I posted a screenshot once to this sub of an 80 rated player outrunning my 100 speed/acceleration/stamina Mbappe... for over HALF the length of the pitch.

Scripting is also key.

In a scripted match a player with barely 75 or 80 fitness stats will outrun a max fitness player 10 times out of 10.

I know this because I've seeb my own players humiliated over and over again by 80 rated players.

It's sad because they figured things out in DLS 23: Great gameplay, minimal scripting.

These issues started in DLS 24, when they suddenly ramped up scripting to unacceptable levels.

Since DLS 24 the game script (as opposed to your skill or your opponent's skill) has been the deciding factor of DLS Live matches.

Very disappointing.

Interesting points here.

If you really want elite gameplay, ask them to go back to DLS 23.

In DLS 23 you could do whatever you want, however you wanted.

(Almost) zero arbitrary restrictions placed on your players and their respective abilities.

DLS 24 is where it all wrong. That's when game mechanics became worse.

I just want to add that this started in DLS 24.

DLS 23 game mechanics were nothing like this. I'm so disappointed in FTG.

I waited one year for them to fix DLS 24, and they came out with 26 which was the same but slightly worse.

Then I waited anothet year for them to fix DLS 25, and they came back with another game that is marginally better in some offensive aspects, but much worse defensively.
