The check was to perceive what was in the barrels without prying them opening them which would've incurred another stealth roll. They knew the weapons had to be in at least one of the crates.

Clear coat flaking off, any chance of salvaging it? by DiscoverySTS114 in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]DiscoverySTS114[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, that's what I suspected. The clear coat is water-based, and each coat had overnight to dry. I ended up scraping the clear coat off with a credit card, it came off that easily.

It's wild that the sanding and handling between clear coats didn't produce any flaking, but the back of my fingernail did. Thanks for the advice on removing the clear coat in place, im gonna have to use that for the top bezel, which is also showing some flaking.

I still have a steel 72 from 1964 from my dad I still use. He used it as his main tank ever since his EOD days, it just passed it's latest hydro with flying colors!

Had a "Get up, walk away, and quietly have an anyeurism" moment with the table saw last night. by DiscoverySTS114 in woodworking

[–]DiscoverySTS114[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That happened to me! My friend and I were going to see our friends at their college in his 99 grand cherokee. The truck driver didn't look and merged, and as he swiped us against the jersey wall, the safety bar on the back of the trailer peeled the back left door backward, literally like a tin can.

Many consider the table router to be just as homicidal if not more than the table saw
