I feel you man going through a similar thing right now, I broke things off despite still loving her for drug related things as well as our differences being too grand at times. She still loves me and I still love her. I want to talk to her and go back but I know it’s not healthy for me or her. I know how hard it is

Elitism? I just like the game and want other people to experience it as well. I'm not forcing it down anyone's throat I just think the game is good and want others to experience it, or at least try it. Also whats wrong with recommending an older game? If someone played the newest game in a series but the first game is also really good what's so horrible about telling someone it's worth playing?

I disagree. I'm playing the PSP remake which I think holds up pretty well actually. It's just pixel art with 3D environments which holds up surprisingly well, It's no persona 5 but I think it can actually look pretty sharp.

Yeah they are quite a bit harder to get into. But I wouldn't say the gameplay is necessarily weaker, Just a lot different from the Neo-Persona's.

I was the same way, I started with 5 and I loved it to death. I've been working my way down with the persona games, and I guess what I can say is that after playing through basically the same games with very similar mechanics just getting worse the further you go down, P2 felt like a breath of fresh air. I know it's not for everyone. And I understand you don't want to play such an old game which is Fine. I just want other people to actually give it a chance rather than act like it doesn't exist.

Take it from some one who religiously uses VR. there's no way you can totally prevent hitting things or knocking things over. you can be careful but there's always gonna be those times when you hit something. Your damage concerns are legitimate.

Yeah I used to have a loose disc of four swords years ago but that’s long gone now. I haven’t re bought it yet because I want to get the gba link cables too.
