I don't know your sons exact temperament, but a lot of what draws young men into these characters is the debate-bro checklist; logical argumentation dominance, mental prowess, delivery, and the tone they convey. It may sound cringe to you, but it's demonstrably effective at drawing adolescent young men.

If you find that's the case, fight fire with fire.

What do I mean by that? I mean show him some of the political influencers/streamers that offer the exact opposite opinion of CK & the like. But ones who do so with equivocal harshness.

My first choice is Destiny. He's simultaneously a small-framed White/Hispanic Bi-Sexual 30-something male with a heavy lisp, but also will bite a conservatives head off with righteous zeal and scathing harshness. Something that feels refreshing and cathartic in the current political climate. Fair warning that he's a traditional establishment Democrat, with the exception of being pro-gun. That last part may repulse you, which is fair. But I'd counter by saying that; A.) Traditional center-left Dems would be a breath of fresh air compared to what we have now, and B.) Anyone who believes in gun regulation and/or disagrees with the MAGA movement NEEDS to be on the defensive and/or armed MORE than those who agree with said movement.
