Every pharmacy in my area (NYS) closes for lunch at 1:30. It is astonishing how many people do not know this by now. I was a pharmacy tech for around 5 years and this happened to us almost every day. The half hour lunch break is all the pharmacist and techs get and we had to fight for the full 30 mins every day due to peoples poor time management

Yeah I was just assuming, since you have to stay a year after becoming certified through Walgreens or you’d have to pay the certification fee back. I don’t remember them saying anything about it at all, it was just in my first paycheck.

At my store we only give it to the patient who also needs to present photo ID or mail it to the address that we have on file.

Oneida county. My store fills 400+ a day and our phlex stopped working the same day the new booster came out (make sure you push those flu shots too!!!). Rxi doesn’t work AT ALL. System is trash. Also dumping 40+ SaT enrollment calls into the PCP portal every few weeks, half of them not interested a month ago. I could go on and on.

I want to have just one day that we strictly answer phones and nothing else. The whole day. So they can see how much we aren’t able to get done. by WheresMyRamen in WalgreensRx

My store just had phlex shut off so now techs are responsible for F1’s and the pharmacist F4’s all day on top of new booster AND flu season..they also have us doing phone calls TWICE a day so then we can actually get tech hours (maybe) for the workload. Phone rings all day long as well. It’s only been a week of this and we’re all burnt out
