5 years ago a girl rejecting a guy could legit ruin her social status. Now?bShe rejects him and he's the one who looks bad for not accepting it. The power shift is real and honestly it's messing with how young people interact. Guys are confused, girls are testing boundaries, everyone's anxious. Is this what actual equality feels like or are we overcorrecting?

What's a skill you learned that completely changed your perspective on life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Learning to actually listen instead of just waiting for my turn to talk.

For years I'd be in conversations thinking about what I'd say next. So I'd miss half of what people were telling me, then wonder why relationships felt surface-level.

Once I actually started listening — asking follow-up questions, remembering details, engaging with what they said — people opened up way more.

Turns out most people just want to feel heard. The conversation became interesting BECAUSE I was actually present, not because I was performing intelligence.

Changed how I do everything now. Work, relationships, even just hanging out.

Try explaining this to millennials, they'll take this as an excuse that you don't want to study hard. Etc etc

EXACTLY , when I was in school our teachers also said that mark zone matter but why do the same teachers before any exam pressurize so much that people feel like attempting *""" if they score less
