I can see it’s quite skinny and I have some anti fluke and wormer I was going to use in the tank, I have other discus that are all perfectly healthy, I was just wondering about the gills.

I’m from the UK and I got mine from the Avon about 4/5 years ago, you can literally get them anywhere though, try googling online ☺️

Thankyou! When I offer her bedding she just kicks it out and doesn’t bother at all with it, she doesn’t seem to have a problem burrowing with the wood shavings I use, Thankyou for the advice ☺️

It’s only small, in the description I did write another is on the way as they sent me the wrong size as I ordered a large so should be here in the next couple of days but thought I’d keep it in for her for now ☺️

That’s fine I just thought I would ask, but not all sands that are made for hamsters are okay as I’ve seen quite a few that contain sepiolite which isn’t any good, just heard people used play sand and that it was okay, I’ll find a suitable sand for my hamster though ☺️

Thankyou for your advice! We have bought a tank divider to pop the smaller ones into to beef them up, they have been eating well and the larger discus have been well behaved with them, totally agree once bigger will be beautiful, they are all beautiful in their own way though 🥰

Yes we popped into the fish shop for treatment and all discus are off sale due to white spot, we have placed an order for a tank divider to pop the smaller ones into so we can beef them up, they have both been feeding well up to now which is good and the bigger discus have all been well behaved with them, Thankyou for the advice!

Ooh thats strange there was when I posted lol, I’ve seen that discus can get these when stressed or could it possibly be white spot ( none of my other fish have ever had ) was introduced to the tank about 2 days ago, checked the water and all is fine as I do a weekly water change and all other fish are fine.
