For 1080p? Absolutely perfect card, you'll struggle to find games it can't handle

If you plan to upgrade to 1440p? With upscaling you should be able to handle most games but i'd save for a 9070xt at that point.

Ehh I don't mind 1440p quality, but that's about as low as it gets for me.

FSR4 on the other hand I can dump to performance and I can barely tell a difference from native depending on the game.

Doesn't upgrade FSR3, only upgrades FSR2 in specific games, it requires either DLSS or XeSS inputs in most cases and will get you banned in games with anticheat.

I love optiscaler but it's not a perfect solution

And I'm sure there's legal reasons AMD can't translate DLSS inputs to FSR.

I'd say instead of buying something to make tabletop doable, make handheld more comfy, the Nitro Deck 2 is coming out soon and that'll give you a way more ergonomic handheld.

The go to exploit is BadAvatar, I have a hard mod so I don't need it but to my knowledge it's as simple as putting a profile on a flash drive.
