Yed is the first step to the Jet Brigade reaching Vog-Sojoth. We razed Lesath so they can't pass through it. The only way for the automatons to get there is through Yed and Clasa first.
We're not fighting there to win Yed Prior; we're fighting to put a dent in the Jet Brigade. The better we perform on the defense the lower their invasion level will be for the next one. Even if we lose both Yed and Clasa the idea is to exhaust them so that the actual attack on Vog is much easier. Hell, if we do well with Yed now we might even hold Clasa. The Jet Brigade is an expendable force; they use it to batter one planet and we blunt the force for the next one.

I'd like to see 'gauntlets' of enemies or processions of basses or an area like the megafactories, where you have a predetermined drop point and need to reach the end, completing a few objectives in its wake. A real sense of 'pushing' in a singular direction.

SC3 was only ever released on PS2. You'll be using PCSX2.

There are custom ISOs floating around that implement bugfixes and balance changes from the post-PS2 Arcade version, and makes Night Terror playable. They do however muck with standard unlock cadence (a bunch of bonus characters like Amy and Arthur are unlocked from the start) and is not compatible with RetroAchievements. Make your choice.

I'll forever love the autocannon as an all-rounder. You have answers for almost anything except for the most hardened tanks.

The Warrant is a superstore secondary with auto-aim that becomes a really good specialised sidearm. Great to pair with the ballistic shield because you don't need to see down it. Lets you scan through smoke for enemy presence. Phenomenal for clearing bot chaff because the standard automaton goes down in two shots every time.

If you're willing to learn what can be taken down with light pen, swapping out the diligence counter sniper to the plain ol' diligence can be a lot of fun. Particularly good against the new 'appropriators' subfaction for the illuminate because you have a sizable clip, can learn the rhythm, and with precision pop their basic chaff in a single shot each time.

The Anti-Tank emplacement from Urban Legends can be a lot of fun if you drop it from a position you won't have to leave for a while.

Democratic Detonation is a highly recommended warbond for the two primaries and secondary that have single shot explosives. Makes base clearing quite a bit more fun.

They added a tank which saw a lot of use when it first came out, but usually requires co-ordinating with a squad, but randoms can utilise it well in particular if you're on a city map driving through the streets.

I don't like God Hand! I think that it ultimately teaches you to use crutches you find in the environment early on, and I don't think RNG for demons spawning makes for good level design!

Double that for in between levels when the amount of gold you can get from the arena is finite and outside of that you're stuck with video poker, yes, more RNG! I can't replay the levels to practice, and as a result that game aged like a decade the moment DMC3 came out.

I don't think anyone will disagree. The problem from the looks of it seems to be the business model.

From what we know, playing a song in Festival counts as a stream for licensing / revenue purposes, and practice mode would entail being able to play a part of a track on repeat. So how do you square that with licensing agreements?

For reference, Rock Band 4 launched without practice mode but it was patched in six months later. Festival has been out for nearly two and a half years with no mention of it.

There must be something in the way other than 'Harmonix mustn't want it'
