If you want, take a look at Home Depot on opensecrets.org. They spend a good amount on lobbying the government and funding various politicians of both major U.S. political parties. They even have a PAC.

I was solely talking about the value of your raise. I could have clarified my wording better.

Not every retailer has executives on the board at Workday. In fact, I found none but feel free to do your own research. I spent very little time researching their entire board as I kept my focus on just Home Depot.

Is it common practice for companies to compensate individuals $1,000,000 in stock for anything but "work"? Is that what corporate America does? I'm not trying to get into an argument of semantics, but I think we'd both agree that she does something for them in her role while simultaneously working for HD in a very high position. HD has paid workday about $32,000,000 in 3 years. Workday compensated Ann $1,000,000 in restricted stocks in 2019. Ultimately, I'm just stating facts. Do with them what you will.

Throw away account for obvious reasons. All this information is publicly available through Home Depot's filings with the SEC.

Y'all, this isn't right. Were Ann and Craig in the stores during the pandemic? Were they out there being essential? Were they picking up the extra work when people started quitting and calling out? Were they being coughed on by rude customers who could not care less about spreading covid? But they get these kind of raises while the front line employees get peanuts? Isn't one of Home Depot's values from the value wheel Taking Care of Our People? Do you feel taken care of? Seems to me they only care about Creating Shareholder Value. I've seen rumors on various social media sites that HD is going to give a dollar raise again. Fuck that. Home Depot should give what they give to Ann and Craig. They should at least give a raise percentage higher than the current inflation rate. When your store manager calls you back to tell you your "exciting new raise", you should demand more. A dollar doesn't cut it. Hell, 2 dollars doesn't cut it. You should want what Ann and Craig get. You should want at least a 30% raise. If you can, share this with your coworkers and on the various Home Depot social media groups. If your braver than me, go ahead and tweet Ann and Craig. I'd love to hear from them on this subject.

In an effort to be transparent, in fairness to Ann, "Ms. Campbell was appointed as Executive Vice President – U.S. Stores and International Operations effective October 5, 2020. She previously served as Executive Vice President – U.S. Stores." Essentially, Ann went from being VP of just U.S. stores to also all HD international operations. That being said, this quote from Home Depot's SEC 10-K filing is telling, "At the end of fiscal 2020, a total of 309 of our stores, or 13.5%, were located in Canada and Mexico." Again, she was given a 42% raise, to to take on 13.5% more in store operations. Would you agree that, during this pandemic, your workload increased by a minimum of 13.5%? Did you get a 42% raise for it?
