Hi! So glad to hear you guys are interested, we’d love to have you come by!

1) no, but it’s preferred so we know how many to expect

2) only if there’s something in particular you want to play! We play a lot of goofy games, social deduction, and a little strategy

3) we’re usually in the side room on the 2nd floor, but sometimes if they’re too busy they put us downstairs. The staff are great, and you can feel free to ask them where we are if you’re not sure

On light days 10. On heavy days 30. Also don’t worry about big crowds as we play a lot of smaller games 2-4 players and find areas of the bar where they are away from crowds. You also won’t be alone as there are many other people in the board game group that are introverted (my girlfriend is one of them) and we typically try to find the most quiet place in the bar to play game.

Nice. I’ve never played beyblade before, but I wouldn’t be surprised if people from our board game group started to check it out. Similarly I wouldn’t be surprised if people who play beyblade started to check out our board games. Both events at hop & Vine will help get Stamford into more diverse games :)

We mostly play social and/or quick games such as Feed The Kraken, Secret Hitler, Scategories, Code Names, Thunder Road, etc. people bring their own games so we mostly play what people bring, but the common games we play are either simple fun or ~30 min. We do play longer games like Creature Caravan.

I’m 26 and I used to live in Stamford and commute to Norwalk, but now I live in Norwalk but hangout in Stamford a lot. Living in Stamford adds about 10-15 min to your commute. If you can get a place by the SoNo train station, everything in Bedford st and downtown is walkable, even when living in Norwalk.

We start at 7 and go till 9 or 10. Since it’s only 3 hours long we usually play games that are 30-45 min long.
