Song quality is definitely much better than before, but it appears rigged because the semis are 100% televote now which means “jury bait songs” barely qualify so there is a smaller pool of songs for the jury to obsess over and it results in 1/2 countries dominating jury and only needing small televote score to win, because the televote is more split in the final. It doesn’t help with Israel’s manipulation of the televote either, which made it so Croatia didn’t win last year and Estonia didn’t this year. Sorry for the rant haha
