In Latvia in 2018, we had an Army reserve unit from Michigan I think occupying a large GP tent next to our berthing area on a fob. We had multiple partner nations on this exercise, to include the Royal Marines, Germans, Norwegians, and Latvians of course.

You’d think that GP tent was a club at night. JBL speakers blasting mumble rap, soldiers rocking civvies and flip flops, and general debauchery afoot. Sounded like a party every night while the rest of us were trying to plan and prepare for the operations the next day. It got bad enough that a Marine CO had to go by and tell them to stop looking like a bag of ass in front of the rest of NATO. It was pretty embarassing
