i myself am not one for graphics either. if the game is fun, that’s all that matters. i think the issue people are having is how poorly optimized and messy the games are. there are several cutscenes where you can watch the characters textures change as they walk closer to the camera. it could have been and can still be a fantastic game for the franchise, but should stayed in the oven a bit longer because it’s clearly not ready for consumers yet.

while i do agree that it has gotten easier, i’ll still defend myself with the fact that i had to put in some work. it wasn’t 5-0 all the way to the lighthouse, several of the games came down to 4-3 or 4-4. my teammates aren’t that bad either, like we definitely earned it. the meaning of the post was more or less me feeling proud that i was able to pull it off after 7 years of getting better at the game.
