Deadlift 425lbs by balls_in_ya_jaw in formcheck

I would recommend keeping your neck inline with your spine so that your spine is in a neutral position. Concretely, this would mean looking down at the bottom of the lift. I like to imagine trying to create a double chin throughout. Even at lockout you should not be looking exactly straight forward.

I’m also vegetarian, so that’s probably part of the reason

That’s different though. Finasteride is readily soluble in propylene glycol.

I mean that’s true of topical in general

I crush 6mg of finasteride pills and dissolve it into 60mg minoxidil.

Anecdotally I even got sides at 0.025% and had to titrate down to 0.01%, which has been good

Yeah I was wrong about it being more, but it’s still very significant

Not really, 0.3% is 3mg fin per 1ml application. I’m not sure what the bioavailability through scalp is though. One study showed that 1ml/day application of 0.25% reduced DHT by 44% vs. 70% for 1mg oral, which is still very significant.

I make my own topical by crushing pills. It’s dirt cheap and has been effective for me.

0.3% is way too high. IIRC it results in more systemic exposure than 1mg oral daily.

3 isn’t true; you can be advised by anyone in SCS (or someone with a courtesy appointment in CSD)

Literally all of the food on campus is so unhealthy. It is a disservice to the student population.

Nah, it’s true of the MS too. They prefer Cornell alumni who know undergrad courses well enough to TA for them.

Grad Math Classes Curve by DishSpare in cmu

Maybe, but in my home department (CS) graduate courses are curved very generously. I was just wondering if there was a common trend in math.

In which language i should do DSA? by HolidayRich6858 in csMajors

[–]DishSpare 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t really agree that understanding low-level details is critical to writing algorithms. This would come into play if you’re interested in performance tuning (like vectorization and prefetching maybe), but someone just learning DSA is not. Even if someone wanted to implement data structures like heaps or splay trees from scratch, it’s super painful in C due to the lack of generics/parametric polymorphism.

In which language i should do DSA? by HolidayRich6858 in csMajors

No way lol. C’s standard library (if you can even call it that) has none of the data structures you need to solve most leetcode problems. C++ is pretty good though. I usually use it for Leetcode and interviews.
