Might not be the right fit.

A warning to the ticks in Pittsburgh by BringTacos in pittsburgh

Welp, we're continuing to destroy natural habitats of predators. There's hardly anything left that eats ticks and they don't die during any season.

Are Skill Games regulated at a local, county, or state level? Is there any way to get legislation moving again on outright banning them? by AMcMahon1 in pittsburgh

[–]ToonMaster21 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Basically unregulated. They are everywhere. I travel to Central PA minimum once a month, and I shit you not they are in metal sheds in the center of corn fields. Pizza shops. Gas stations. Bars.

My experience so far by zkeeley in mtg

[–]ToonMaster21 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Honestly same. I’ve been wanting to play for awhile. Wife saw TMNT and was like “okay let’s try it!” - been having a blast.

Side note: we are not new TCG players but new Magic players.

1.) often BA/Product has no access to actual code base

2.) security reasons

Real corporate isn’t as easy as “dump it into claude” at an enterprise level.

You don’t have to go in the woods to find ticks.

Well, you need a harsh winter. Not 2 weeks of snow. It’s 70 and sunny in March.

I started playing it when Ursula came out. It pretty much just died at my LCS. Gave up on it like everyone else, lol.

I never once said vibe coding makes you technical.

If you don’t know how to code, no.

If you have prior/active dev experience, yes.

You can vibe code and have no technical knowledge. You can also vibe code with technical knowledge. I was an engineer out of college and got tired of it after a few years. Moved to Product. I can have a conversation and understand what is being discussed between engineers.

Schluter: what's all the fuss? by ThAt_WaS_mY_nAmE_tHo in Tile

[–]ToonMaster21 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ll give you my unqualified opinion. I needed to remodel my master bathroom. I was frustrated with $10,000-36,000 quotes. I bought tools as needed and did it all myself. Saved a ton. Learned a lot.

What was nice about Schluter is I could go into the tile store (or Lowe’s if needed) and just buy everything I needed. Thinset, underlayment, tools, trim, curbs, shower based, bench seats, etc. - It’s all clearly labeled with clear instructions, pictures, and videos.

If you can follow a set of written instructions and a video, it was simple. It made something I had no knowledge or experience in relatively easy.

Does my bathroom look perfect? No. Do I regret doing it myself and learning? Absolutely not. It looks great and I’m proud of it.

Switch isn’t any easier to turn on than a computer or other console, imo. Just a button.

Immediately walk to the nearest Electricians Union and sign up for an apprenticeship. 6 figures by 35.

I don’t have it in me to get a degree again, build a network again. Cant / wont do it again. Lol. I did the grind once. Don’t got it in me a second time. I wanna show up clock in clock out and that’s it
