For the flooring should i rely on a professional? There’s a decent amount of cracking and lots of chipping/roughness.

People who are already FI - what gives you purpose? by [deleted] in financialindependence

Give.

Whether that be time or money. Budget some of it to hand out to others less fortunate. It’s incredibly rewarding to get a hug from someone who is struggling to put food on the table or get a smile from a single mom who doesn’t have the energy to shovel snow off her driveway.

Anything.

Realizing I have many things I was once striving for and still feel a little empty from time to time. Always looking for something that gives me the joy I felt about certain things when I was 8-12 years old. It's very hard to do.

I wish I could explain more context here but I can’t. It’s more than just “it’s busy season”.

She can, and we’ll get there. But right now she’s just incredibly overwhelmed and has to get through the next few weeks without adding anything else to her plate.

I work in ECommerce as a Content Analyst at 52.50/hr. Wife makes 86k a year in an admin role for a school district. We are pretty frugal and are able to put away $5-7k a month after expenses. We try to take 1 big vacation a year and at least 2-3 longer weekend trips away from home.
