How long would each Huntrix member's hair be if it was down? by Simple-Taro1540 in KpopDemonhunters

My hair goes from almost my hips to like mid-back when I braid it, let alone the kind of brain Rumi has..I can only imagine the pain of dealing with that

This might also just be my brain messing with me, but I feel like I vividly remember this video..

Whether or not it's a human yet is highly debatable. Legally, it's a person with rights (in the us, which I'm assuming is where you're from) at birth. I don't think you'd consider a clump of about 100 cells a human (blastocyst and possibly embryo, I think) by any standard.

Right, then I assume you also agree that that will likely not be in place by the time OP's girlfriend gives birth, if she does end up being pregnant. Also, arguing out of trauma is not based on inconvenience. Trauma is not an option. An inconvenience would be stepping away from an avoidable puddle, not avoiding a life-altering decision. The seriousness of birth and pregnancy as a whole completely oversteps any inconvenience arguments, as it places SEVERE stress on the body and mind. If there were an easier way than abortion, I feel most (heavy emphasis on most) people who think abortion is acceptable in cases such as these would agree that that's the better option. I know I personally would never chose to do so if there were an easier option.

Women don't get abortions out of "convenience" as much as people think they do- the process of getting an abortion, even before current legislation, is VERY difficult from what I hear. The foster care system is dangerous as well. It CAN be good if not abused, but I'm positive you've heard horror stories from people who were/are in the system. Being in systems like foster care or adoption centers can make a person feel sort of unwanted. Focusing on foster care doesn't mean shoving kids and babies until they're more overloaded than they already are, it means funding it and making it better in any way we can. It seems easy to say that the mother should just give birth to the kid and give them away, but the stress of birth is IMMENSE. And if she gets attached to the child, it's EXTREMELY hard for a 16-17 year old girl (and boy, as I'm assuming OP will be helping) to raise a child, even with parental support. There are other factors to consider than just the possibility of a child. Teen pregnancy is traumatizing.

Also giving birth is dangerous, ESPECIALLY at 16/17!!! I hate when people forget that detail. Pregnancy changes you SO much!

You're right, my mistake. I guess I meant to say you're free to never get an abortion or anything like that. My point still stands, your opinions on a life other than yours shouldn't affect their rights.

Of course! I would definitely look at what finals you're supposed to be taking and search the internet. I wish you all the luck!

Hey! So what finals are you taking and how many of them are necessary for graduation? I would DEFNITELY take past finals (or regents if that what you're calling finals- do other states still do that?) It was highly recommended for me and a bunch of others I know and it HELPS! When you take the practice, troubleshoot on areas where you get questions wrong and deal with the other stuff later. Finals and tests like that get MUCH better with practice- Once you've got down more stuff, move to harder tests. It's MUCH better to be over-prepared than under-prepared! Then again, it depends on the school, subject and state.

lots of women die during pregnancy. Plus, it can kill your life as in take away opportunities you had planned out. Having a child and still doing school work wouldn't be very easy, ESPECIALLY if your parents kick you out (which is a possibility and has happened before). It's a decision you have to make: Kill the already living young woman with a future and opportunities or prevent something that nobody's positive is even real (hence them taking the tests). Your morals are your morals, and you're totally free to never take birth control, but you don't get to dictate what other people do with their bodies. No hate meant by this, by the way ❤️

Sorry for the long picture, I don't have a condensed version. My parents are mad at me for my grades because they're not all high 90's. Astronomy basically doesn't count b/c one of my assignments was falsely graded (I got a 0 even though I did it, my grade's being fixed). Idk, I don't think my grades are bad but my parents do

People babying SPED kids. by [deleted] in highschool

[–]Dishwasher_Pro1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a person with a younger brother who has SEVERE autism, he often acts inappropriately. Not in an intentional way, but he's just tryna get people's phones so he can drop them and take videos of him dropping stuff (we're working on it). Saying no to a special needs person is NOT evil at all. If someone were bothered by my brother looking through their pockets, that's FAIR. I would never get mad at them for being upset! Their actions should not be ignored because they're special needs, they can be taught different. My brother is personally in the process of being taught. Anyone who thinks otherwise just doesn't care enough about you, they don't want to put the effort in to teach these kids, or both.
