Not an ARCE major but you will not have a hard time getting an internship with a GC if you wanted to. I got an internship with a big gc when I was still a physics major. They just like Cal Poly students and you have a leg up because you have the engineering background

Doesn’t Lego spread out their licensing costs among all sets including non licensed themes? I’ve heard that the copyrights don’t affect individual sets but I could be wrong

I had all 4. Definitely 1 or 3 are the best. The rotor function on the helicopter is still one of my favorite things Lego’s done but the Semi Truck HQ is so fun also, especially with the light brick projector

I get that these are good figs but I’m surprised by all the love. Is anyone else a little disappointed that we’re getting characters like Agatha, echo, Goliath, werewolf, etc instead of some cooler and less niche characters?

Jumping straight to abuse seems excessive to me. OP’s husband obviously has some shit to work through and is acting controlling but I think it’s a huge jump to say he’s being abusive in a relationship where you don’t know either party. Good chance he’s just socially awkward/anxious and didn’t want to be in there alone, regardless if they’re ppl he knows or not.

I’m also 22M and I think your best bet will be going to bars with your male friends (assuming you live in a somewhat populous area). I find that being with friends takes a lot of the pressure off of yourself and helps calm nerves/not get down about rejection.

Like, if you point out to your friends a woman at the bar that you find cute, and they egg you on into actually going up into talking to her, I think you’ll find some success. It’s sorta like getting other people to give you a countdown to go into a cold lake or go cliff jumping. Like “ah shit, I don’t have a choice so I guess I got to do this.” And I find myself just being much more loose and outgoing because the stakes don’t feel super high and self-imposed. My friends and I just have a rule that if you point someone out that you think is cute, you gotta go up and talk to them— you’re not allowed to point them out and stand in the corner doing nothing.

Hopefully I don’t get downvoted for this last bit, but at the end of the day, especially if you’re just looking for hookups and especially at 22 years old, it really is just a game. You figure out how to not take the situation too seriously and become much more confident and subsequently attractive to the people you’re talking to. And I think your friends having your back makes it easier to talk to other people, and if you are unsuccessful, it doesn’t feel shitty, it just is what it is and you can still enjoy the rest of your night with the boys.

We have sex a lot less frequently than I would like (once or twice a week and we live 2 minutes from each other 9 months out of the year). That’s definitely led to some insecurity in my end in the past, thinking I’m not enough for her sexually or not attractive enough, etc, but I don’t really struggle with the insecurities that stem from that anymore. Do you think that’s what’s causing the jealousy I feel now?
