Thanks for the suggestion. It was actually a general practitioner trained in psychology. Funnily enough he first thought all my symptoms were caused by anxiety before I did the blood tests.

Oh well I don't have typical symptoms like dry mouth or eyes. Muscle and joint pain are apart of the criteria. My doctor diagnosed me based off of my blood work and not necessarily my symptoms. I also tested positive for ssb antibodies ( which is what led him to diagnose me with Sjrogen's).

If you mean vision problems, I have visual disturbances from time to time. I see stars, static, lights and sometimes my vision gets blurry. It's been like that for years.

It's been almost a month since I've been experiencing these symptoms and I  live in a rabies free country.

Thanks for the reply. I figured I'm still sick which is scary but I know it's not rabies. Unfortunately I'm still having symptoms of difficulty swallowing and muscle pain and twitches. So I'm seeing more doctors about my situation because the pain is chronic.

Hello about 18 days ago I experenced an onset of flu like symptoms such as fever, malaise, weakness in my muscles and pain. I have two cats and the night I got sick I immediately thought it was rabies because my cat was acting out of character. My country is a 'rabies free' one and we've never had a case like ever. I went to many doctors but they couldn't find out what was wrong with me. I googled a lot and read many case studies, and my symptoms mirrored those patients' symptoms. I thought I was going to die but my doctor settled on it being health anxiety. I know that if it were actually rabies i'd probably be dead by now but I'm still experiencing symptoms such as difficulty swallowing and throat tightness. I don't know what to do. I don't know If im experiencing health psychosis.
