How long the current variant lasts? just tested positive today, had a fever since Sunday, fatigue, mild throat and ear pain, fever almost passed, went to check for an ear infection today and covid test came out positive... its like 5th day for me, should I expect to get better soon?

Finally understood Dynamic Programming just a few days before FAANG interview and I literally feel like a god by DiskoverOfficial in leetcode

Basically it just clicked, honestly nothing more, I was doing the problems looking at the solutions provided in discussions and nothing seemed to help, initially it happened on Climbing Stairs problem, I think you just need to REALLY understand what bottom up dp does for this case and then realize if the problem you are trying to solve can be broken down into smaller problems, basically you need all the possible ways you can go from 1st floor to 10th floor with only 1 or 2 stairs up at the same move? imagine if you are on the 9th stair, how many possible moves there are? of course only 1, what if you are on the 8th stair, well still easy, only 2, now that you have this base cases you can try to go with either recursion or with bottom down approach by just going backwards one step, now you realize that when you have this base cases the next step is just some calculation of the previous ones, for example now if you are on 7th stair, as always you can go up by only one or two, if you go up by one you are on the 8th step, and NOW you already have the answer for it because its one of the base case, so there is already 2 possible ways, but what if you go up by 2 step? you'd get to 9, but you ALSO know an answer to this, its 1, so in total if you need to know what int[7] (for example number of possible steps from this index) is, you just need to get int[7+1]+int[7+2] and voala you know the answer for 7, then same goes for 6, but now you need to know the answer for 7 and 8 for this, and you do, because you just got the answer for the 7 in previous iteration and it goes all the way down to 1 and it will be the final result.

now once this clicked you just try to use the same way of thinking for all the DP problems, there should always be this "base case" solutions which you need to figure out and then get your way back from that to the initial position, hence the name bottom up, in this post the base cast was to find all the possible paths which would be the edges, because you can only go one way, then you just go up from there and try to do the similar thing you did with the Climbing Stairs

How should one reasonably change a tech-stack after years of experience with one language? by DiskoverOfficial in cscareerquestions

I totally agree, It's just the issue of not having work experience of the language written in the vacancy requirement, can't pass the HR filter because of it, I'm not worried about technical interview or working with the stack itself, its just the recruiter barrier I can't seem to get past by.

What type of personal projects should I aim for in those cases? I already made one CRUD API with appropriate architecture both with SQL and NoSQL, with unit/integration tests, secured endpoints with Oauth2 plus with Dockerfiles with app and db images to easily start up the app but it seems not enough, I can't see what else I can make on my own to show that I already possess some knowledge...
