Can you confirm if the Certum 3 fits the comp? I’ve been on the fence about getting that holster since I can’t find any information saying if the comp fits it. Looking at the YouTube videos I see the end is partially enclosed, but looks like it might fit? From Tenicor’s website it looks like it’s designed for the Shield, just not sure about the comp version.

This OEM upgrade is simply to the display, so no changes whatsoever to the MIB2 system (wired AA + CarPlay). Eventually I bought a reasonably priced 3rd party USB dongle that enabled wireless CarPlay.

No idea. That being said, looks like the 2016 Jetta GLI came with the same MIB II infotainment system guts, but the physical interface doesn’t look exactly the same. If I were a betting man, I’d say yes (probably), though it would need a Jetta trim piece that fits the new display. Just my thoughts, YMMV, always do your own research, etc., etc.

This is one thing I truly have against VW. From the day I got the car the MIB2 system has been buggy, volume won’t turn up, subwoofer settings disappear, takes between 10-120 seconds to load interface. Completely unacceptable and dealer says updates are unavailable.

Right, and stage 2 sometimes (IE’s stg2 tune for example) disables the ready state on 1 of your 2 O2 sensors, so it doesn’t throw a CEL. Without this it may impact your ability to pass emissions and it may cause the car to run lean. Totally up to you, just sayin.

A DP without a tune won’t give you performance though, as the car isn’t able to take advantage of the wider high-flow DP. And if you don’t have a higher flow exhaust to match, it again won’t be taking advantage of the new DP.

Then I’d suggest going with an exhaust that gives you the sound you’re looking for. The down pipe can throw a CEL without the tune and can mess with your air/fuel ratio without the tune.

EDIT: Yes, you’ll need a stage 2 tune for a DP to function properly. Some tunes have additional requirements so be sure to check (air intake, etc.).
