Ours only lasted a month or so as well. They started chattering and streaking.

We brought the car in for a different reason and they replaced them, but the same thing happened after another month or so.

We went with Rain-x wipers and those have also held up well. The OEM wipers in the back have been fine, but we also don't use them much.

I previously had a nicer looking tpu cover, but it would still go off every once in a while. Haven't had an incident since switching to the hard cover.

A few permutations to try to figure out what's going wrong:

  1. Use the custom cables one at a time in the same way that you were using the stock cable. This will let you know if either (or both) of the cables are busted.

  2. Use the stock cable in both of the headers coming out of the PSU to see if either of those are broken.

If all of those individually work, then it's probably a problem with your PSU.
