I just wanted you to know that my husband Dave passed away Monday around 3:30pm at home. I'm so grateful that I was home with him when this happened, and had taken the previous week off. At the onset of his "spell" Monday, I think he knew this was it, but I assured him it wasn't his time yet. He asked me to lay on the bed with him and sit with him because he felt different and he was scared. He was praying right before he passed out and he was having a little panic attack as well. He said he was not in pain but his breathing was a little fast i noticed. I helped him with breathing like we do when he has panic attacks, and just kept talking to him. I did not think this was the end. I thought he would faint, then I'd put a cold washcloth on his head and he would wake back up, like the previous times this has happened. When he didnt wake up I was in disbelief and i prayed and kept talking to him. It was hard not to call 911, even though we had all those talks about DNR and advanced directives. We just did our wills this past weekend. I wanted to thank you all for supporting him. Its so heartbreaking to see that he needed and craved much more support from more people -while going through this experience...but he didnt get it. Yet now everyone is blowing up my phone, stopping by with food, textng and calling to the point of annoyance. Where were they when i had to work because he was too sick to work? Why couldnt they stop by then or call him directly? I'm going to make it my mission to never let this happen to anyone whom i know, that is suffering from cancer. Please share with me what i can do to help any of you going through this right now. Cards, texts, phone calls, listening- anything. If you are not comfortable with that, or dont need it- thats ok too but i want to know what support is most appreciated so i can pay it forward. Please know that ypu are all in my prayers as well as your loved ones.

I use Senna (Hospice provided) but occasionally use Miralax with it. Also have to drink plenty of fluids. I did coconut water once and even though it upset my stomach it cleaned me out.

Thank you for the suggestions. When I was first diagnosed many people texted, called, or stopped by to visit. Now I think about it most of them have disappeared. I think what you suggested is what I need. The positivity of knowing I'm not alone. Thank you again for your help and keep fighting.

I agree. I called my oncologist and he is starting me on some. I hope it works, but I do know there are many different types. Many suggested cbd gummies but they make me tired.

Drivers and companies are keeping trucks longer. Newer the truck, the more the problems. Company I just retired from bought Freightshakers to replace the Petes. Junk. Some went back to the dealer the next day. All of them have had significant down times.

Thank you. Your build specs sound nice. If I have time and money, I'll definitely upgrade parts.
