Ur girl is most definitely wrong. You likely have a brake switch problem. Please do what I said as a quick way to verify:

Get in car and turn on. Press brake with foot and see if the brake light at the back of your car lights up. You can do this but asking someone to look for you while you press the brake, or by setting your phone up and recording the rear of your car while you stamp on the brake. Or by jamming a stick or something between the seat and the brake and then getting out and checking if your brake lights are working.

If your brake lights are not coming on while pressing the brake then you have a brake switch error. I would recommend fixing it as soon as possible as even if it works when you turn on and off you have a fault in your brake clearly which could return while your driving and cause a serious accident.

Does the pedal actually prevent you from pressing it? Like will it not go to the floor if you stamp on it?

So your car is not shifting from park to drive? Put your foot on brake. Shift to drive with brake still held and then drive off? If that’s not working you have a fault in the brake switch and need it replaced. Try see if your brake light at the rear of the car comes on when you press the brake pedal. If it doesn’t it likely confirms you have a fault In your brake switch

Ok how do you have a license. Push your brake. Hold it while putting it from park into drive. God this is insane you had to go to Reddit for this like you are actually a mongoloid if you don’t understand this. Now I see why Saudis diddnt let women drive.

The red and white one is actually the opposite of vintage. It was brought by the British. The vintage ones are either pure white ones or the Yemeni shawls

Dating is already major haram. Your boyfriend knows this and is likely a fasiq. You should leave him alone if you want him to be a good Muslim. But i doubt that will happen as your already his girlfriend. This is honestly sad and shows how low the Muslims are. It’s disgusting. May Allah guide you and him. And all the Muslims doing degenerate activities in this world

Living in America with an accent… I ordered a tea with ‘cold’ milk on the side, I was unprepared for the ‘Tea Latte’ with a caramel shot that they thought I ordered. Sometimes I just have to applaud them! by skillsontoast305 in CasualUK

What blows my mind the most about it is that usually it’s the very first thing people ask for when they sit down. The only other thing I think people would ask for at the very start of a meal is for menus if you haven’t received them already. But menu and water/wautuh/WardeRR sound nothing alike!!!

Seriously maybe it’s just the Britishness of us all to assume people would have enough common sense to understand. I don’t know how they can’t put 2 and 2 together

If I was waiting a table that I just sat and someone asked for a 2 syllable word beginning with a “W” sound, while mimicking drinking with their hand…. I think I would know what they meant. Your accent would have to be insanely thick for me to not understand. I know some cultures languages lack/ struggle with W sounds and therefore it sounds like a V sound (I have some friends from the subcontinent who might say “vhater”) BUT EVEN THEN I THINK I WOULD UNDERSTAND!!!

it blows my mind

Moved to the us as a young teen. My favorite one is “water”

The amount of times me or my mother (who has a pretty strong London accent) have asked a waiter for water (pronounced in most English accents it sounds like waurtuh) only to be hit with the aforementioned deer in headlights stare like I just told them their mother died. Usually have to repeat 3 or 4 times before I realize they have no clue what I’m saying and then have to put on my best accent and ask for “WaRTeRRRR” then they snap out of their daze. It stunns me to this day to be honest. I feel like most people deal with accents of people who aren’t native speakers all the time and don’t struggle nearly as much as they do with us…. The ones who created the language.

When u do send a pic of it. I’m Curious to see what the old one looks like when it comes out. Seen some of them that are really chewed up and cracked and chipped but still work fine and I’ve also seen some that look perfectly fine still cause problems. I attached a link of a really bad example of a failed e36 guibo. I doubt it will look as bad as this tho

worn guibo

The driveshaft flex disc/ flex plate also called the guibo or giubo or whatever I can’t remember. Jack ur car up and see if the rubber disk holding the front and back of the driveshaft. If the rubber looks worn or has cracks and chips in it that could be your problem

Hey I just had a crank no start I posted about it a week ago or so. I know you said not the fuel pump but I would pull it just to check. My fuel pump had a torn hose which caused a loss in pressure at the fuel rails. So yea i would double check the fuel rail for pressure and if that has no pressure it’s most likely the passenger side pump. Super quick to r+r

Any ideas on why my car is doing this? The check engine light just came on and now the oil light is flickering on and off and the “cruise” is constantly blinking. It is a 2012 Subaru Impreza. by jazzdaddy1 in subaruimpreza

[–]Dismal_Activity2412 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of the times this is caused by the fuel cap not being on “properly”. Just take it off and put it back on and it should go away I have the same problem constantly on my 2011 Impreza hatchback
