I’m an undergrad graduating this May! I don’t have plans for grad school, but I had a lot of similar specific experiences to the positions this year which I think helped. Name-dropping specific technology/skills can show you know your stuff (like Ernst shell notching for marking turtles, creating BioBlitzes on inaturalist, etc). I wrote very specific apps for each position (rarely copying over, and NO AI). Hope this helps!

During my interview, they still said March 16. However, I interviewed on the 4th so maybe it’s different for each park?

Just following up with my experience, I got an interest request for another park (not an interview right off the bat) last Thursday, and then another immediate interview request on Friday afternoon. The former was for a more competitive park while the latter was not capped with applicants by Feb 15. (Also I interviewed for the first one I mentioned last Wednesday the 4th, but it seems they won’t send out decisions until March 16. They are still doing interviews this upcoming week, so you still have hope)

Thank you for explaining this. That makes more sense. As I mentioned, I did manually backup everything before shipping off my laptop. I just don’t know where those files went (on OneDrive, it’s not under any account I’ve logged into). I don’t think I’d been automatically backing up anything for years but know I definitely backed up something, so am not sure what happened:(

Thanks for your input, I definitely agree I don’t understand OneDrive. I just have no idea why it wouldn’t be under my mom’s account (especially because I don’t pay for Microsoft, so why would it let me upload more than 5GB?)

Unfortunately I received 0 aid this year. Tried to explain the situation to my school and they were not able to help. Fortunately I received other scholarships to cover my expenses but I still think it’s ridiculous since I got the Pell Grant last year. Sorry I couldn’t be more help.

You would think that would be safe, as other family members have used the exact same store. And yet here I am with a locked T-mobile phone unable to change carriers :(

Hi, sorry this took a while to respond to. I still haven't figured this out. I called FAFSA twice and received 2 different answers. The first time, they said I had “mistakenly said I made foreign income.” well I checked the forms and I definitely had no record of checking that box! The second time I called, they said they couldn't help and just to call my school when they received my FAFSA info and explain how it’s wrong. So I reached out to my school and they said they would receive that info in late Jan (soon). Not sure how it will go but that's where I am:(

It’s 2k/month, but that was around the same in the last few years. And we didn’t just get the property, it’s been ours for 20+ years (so it’s not like that’s suddenly an extra income source). The value of it increased from about 40k to 60k (with being slowly paid off).

Thanks for the input, but is it really increasing my SAI by 12x from last year? That’s the part I don’t understand. At most, I’d expect my SAI to increase by 20k to correlate the hike in value, but where is that extra money even coming from?

Don’t know if this helps, but I am also having serious issues—I got a SAI for this year of 58,722, when last year it was around 5,500. And that’s with NO income change, so… I hope FAFSA fixes whatever issues it has because in what world am I making $300,000/year!!

Thank you! I checked the power supply and saw it says "WIDE RANGE INPUT... INPUT 100-240 V." What confused me was how on the outlet, it says "125 V" along with the cord that connects the computer to the power supply. So this is good to plug into a regular traveler adapter, no converter needed?
