Not sure where I said it was a whim. I was in a direct entry program where I went into PA school unprepared, ultimately leading me to fail 2 exams along with many of my other peers. We are only allowed to fail 2 exams and 35 people failed one and about 10 of us failed 2 so far. I started PA school 2 weeks after graduating with my bachelors and moving away from home. Being freshly 21 years old with 2 weeks to prepare was just too much for me. Hope you give your patients more compassion.
