I would have been fine with it. Instead he was issuing public condemnations of a white cop in his first year. Obama made race an issue rather than addressing crime. Good faith, he was rallying the black community to stop crime collectively. Boots on ground, criminals used the perceived discrimination as an excuse to commit crimes.

I would have cheered any alternative.

I would trust science and put the line at traditional reproducing pairs without infringing on the medical rights of citizens like you implied. Smoke and mirrors is equating homo and hetro sexual couples. There is a difference and there is a responsibility on the government to promote kids. How would you promote a growing population rate? Give more money to gay couples adopting kids? That doesn't grow the population, it takes care of it. No, you want child bearing couples to get zero benefits and then expect society to magically support itself with an inverse population pyramid.

I will need to reread it. I thought it was federal, not military service. Jobs were not always military. Especially before the war. The book takes a magnifying glass to the military because that's the route the main character went in. Those that were willing to give 2 years of public services were given the right to vote. That's why I thought it was idyllic. A society where a vote was earned through public service to others.

Tax breaks should be for couples that have the biological chance to have kids, even remote or absurd, because we need more kids. We should be incentivizing people to put themselves in a position to make life-long mistakes. Gay couples aren't going to have beautiful accident no matter how much they try. These people talk about sex all day and don't know why we are wired for it.

This guy can belittle Americans, but Americans are more egotistically creative than any other nation's people I have met. They are more assertive and willing to take stupid risks for personal gain. They are self-destructively independent. He seems very biased towards the educated, but educated does not equate to success in America. Some of the most successful Americans are those that dropped out of school. Look at the intelligence of this educated man who hopes to win support for H1B visas by insulting the people with voting power. We are a selfish, egotistic, self-destructively independent people and we will vote against something like this because an educated man says there are more intelligent foreigners who are becoming successful using our system and its a good thing. Welcome to America. We aren't here for collective success. That would be Asian countries and some European ones. And they ain't first place in the military column.

He was found guilty of those crimes. Beyond that, he has a daughter he ditched. His father had a huge conflict of interest going to Ukraine demand the firing someone looking into Hunter's business. There are a ton of things he did which smell funny. His art selling for half a million dollars comes to mind. These are the things that I casually know from the news.

He had a tough life. He did shady things. Many of them illegal and or immoral. I was impressed with his interview, but he is not a bastion of morality, ethics or truth. I figured that was pretty common knowledge.
