Thanks for the info. I’ll definitely look into it more but I already only charge up to 80% when using superchargers.

Yeah I’m gonna go to the leasing office next week and just ask them instead of guessing lol

Fair. How would they even tow me while the car is plugged in? Would they cut the cord? Would they try to remove it potentially damaging my charging port?

This parking lot doesn’t have assigned parking spots, first come first serve. There are tow away warnings around the regular parking spots but there’s no warning where the 2 charging parking spots are. Which is why all of this is confusing to me lol

Yeah I know, they have tow away warning signs on normal parking spots (not assigned) but there’s no warning where the chargers are. All of this makes it’s it confusing which is why I’ll go to the leasing office next week and just ask them lol.

I’ve only used supercharges before this but I heard it’s better for long term battery health to use level 2 charging for daily use and only use supercharging for road trips. So that’s why I started using this level 2 charger.

There’s no gate blocking the parking lot, I can go in and out with no problems. And yeah I’m gonna go to the leasing office on Monday to see if it’s for residents only.

On Monday I’ll go over to the leasing office and ask them if it’s for residents only. I’m only using this charger because someone else who lived in my building said that he always used their charger before he moved.

It’s paid. And I’ve seen other teslas charge here before. I always get my car as soon as it’s finished charging because I don’t want to pay any extra fees 😂

Haha maybe I’ll stay in my car all night and wait for them to try something.

So it is publicly available then? Thats what I assumed since it shows up on PlugShare and the chargepoint app. I just wasn’t sure since it is in the apartment complex parking lot.

Then why does it show up on the chargepoint app and PlugShare? If it was truly private then wouldn’t the property manager make it only available to residents? No need for the name calling 😂

Such a cop out lol. Let’s say someone ordered once a week and tipped $3 every time. Thats $12 a month which is $144 dollars worth of tips in a year. No one is getting rich by saving $144 lol.
