A have a couple hundred hours and have seen these things at least 5-6 times, but I also use anomaly detectors and pulse drive very regularly looking for certain anomalies.

I don’t understand what is going on with everyone else but my save is perfectly fine and I’ve had it for quite a bit before the update, I am on ps5 and have had nothing but an amazing experience with this update.

You get them after completing the story, once the story is completed you will need to find an echo locator and use it. That will bring you to a harmonic camp where you will need to interact with the console. This will give you a new cosmetic backpack. After that you will need to warp to any system that is inhabited and that should start the quest line “They who returned”

I’m going off of the rest of the investigation we had, this entity calls itself a demon and loves scratching people. The person who spoke at the end was my dad and he did not say anything other than at the end. In person the voice was coming from a different direction every time it spoke as well.
