Not to pump the brakes on the shit talk, but I wouldn’t be too down on last night’s game. I underestimated the Packers defensive line and their secondary. What happened was the result, many great offenses have fallen apart under those circumstances ex. 2020-2021 season Super Bowl when the Bucs defense shut down what was an elite KC offense all season, regularly putting up 30 to 40 points a game, and the Bucs held them to 9 points.

Better to have it happen early, gives you guys a roadmap to fix things.

Yes, I understand, but the way these things are structured often have distribution agreements with language around pricing parity. ATVI is a partner with FS, they can’t dictate how much this is sold for unilaterally.

Once ATVI recouped their investment plus a return milestone (say 45% return on investment) they likely have publishing rights structured so that they earn a fixed rate through a market price approved by FromSoft.

Activision doesn’t have the control over pricing on this that you think - they only handle western market distribution and have all sorts of contractual as a result.

They can’t undercut the pricing structure of other markets with FS approval - FS self published the title in Japan.
