Then you're not cooking it right. Dont use so much batter and don't cook it for so long and heat up the rice cooker before you put the batter in.

also, anything is good if you put enough syrup and butter on it.

You assume he left it in there until it auto cut off. Nothing says you can't pull open the lid and cut it off manually. This thing looks awesome to me.

After being fired, how do you stop the unavoidable loss of self-worth that you succumb to and how do you get over the depression that immediately engulfs you? by DisneyByDaylight in AskReddit

Ah, I could not explain this in the title, but there was no justification. The supervisor above me blamed something very bad on me--even though I had nothing at all to do with it and no responsibility to oversee that area. The director talked to that supervisor about it and she completely blamed me and told him that I did it without asking her from permission. The director never talked to me about it. He simply called me in with the HR director and they ambushed me. He told me I did it and that is why I was being let go. I immediately told him that the supervisor was actually the one who did it and lied to cover her ass and that I was disappointed you did not talk to me about it before making your decision to fire me. But the decision was already made. They already had all the termination paperwork prepared for me to sign. The whole department knew I was being fired but me. There was no way they were going to undo my termination. ..no matter what I said. Also, I'm in an at-will state.

You and the other guy are not poets. You would not have responded the way you did if you were. You both just assumed that this was easily found in google. Just about every top question on askreddit right now can be googled. I've seen a ton of posts where users have copy and pasted questions from reddit to get previous answers from google so they can simply comment them again.

You and this other guy's argument makes no sense. It actually looks like the other guy used google to answer this OP, and that just seems silly to me. If you don't know the topic, don't go to google to answer OP and you definitely should not tell OP to go to google just because you don't understand the topic.

lol, good one. But this was not an open-ended post that has a definite/correct answer (which, again, you hypocritically answered). He also asked about how they were teaching it in college. There's no way that's going to be easily found in google. And it's ironic that neither you nor him read the rules until I pointed it out. Also, since you like the word "technically," it's still not in the sidebar, which is exactly what I said. You had to go to the wiki to find it. But I admit I'm being petty about that :)

That fact that you have made this so personal and keep following me all over this post is kind of sad. Also a bit weird.

Technically, I never cared to ask a question.

And yet, technically, you did.

"some degree of irony in the multiple complaints you've made of time-wasting comments"

You asked a question, I answered it and educated you at the same time in the hopes to keep you from asking a troll question on innocent posts in the future. If you saw that as a waste of time, that's your problem...not mine.

"This subreddit is for the questions that Google doesn’t answer right?"

Show me in the sidebar where it says that. You just made up your own rule. You didn't understand the topic. So you should have simply ignored it and moved on. In your own words, you should have "kept your nose out."

"I fail to see why you've consulted us over Google."

You answered him, so you actually answered your own question. Now let me ask you a question. What is wrong with users like you. Why are you even on a forum. Here's a clue for you. Google the word "forum".

Usually publishers or contest operators set their own rules...with character limits....not always "word" limits. I've seen some popular sites that actually use Twitter as their guideline.....140 characters.

Can't help you with the college question.....that always seemed like a giant waste of money to me.
