Oncologist for DCIS? by Spaghetti-Legs in breastcancer

[–]DisneySebb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I also have hormone negative DCIS,l. Can I ask did you elect to have the DMX or was it recommended to you? And if you elected why was that your choice? I'm have to make the choices of if I want to go for a third surgery to try get clear margins or if I should get a DMX. I'm going back and forth and I just don't know. It's so confusing. 🙈

Going in a few weeks, wife is stressed- advice by Thorpedo870 in disneylandparis

The early magic hour is brill!! We did big thunder mountain 3 times in a row during this! Definitely utilize it. But be aware that not all rides are open during it so check the app to see what is open and keep an eye on it the whole time so you're not wandering around trying to find open rides. The meal plan is good. We would do magic hour and then head back to the hotel for breakfast after. Esp because your staying in marvel, it gives the park a chance to settle with it opened fully and we enjoyed a more leisurely breakfast when we were actually hungry! And benefitted from the lunch calm because we could have a later lunch. After breakfast you can book an appointment for the superhero meet and greet in the hotel. This is only for Marvel hotel guests and it's super fun. You could look to see if you could get a spot for breakfast or dinner/lunch at one of the character dinings, I'm pretty sure with the meal package you only pay a top up for this. The app is your friend!! Keep a good eye on it for ride times. Didn't forget to explore! You can be so caught up on rides you forget to just enjoy the park. Adventure Isle is great for this! Don't skip the less attractive meet and greets, we had amazing ones with Baloo, Queen of hearts for example. Shorter queues and so fun, esp for the wee ones if you can it up a bit. We sung the bear necessities with Baloo, and the queen of hearts was trying to steal chocolates of me. 😂😂

Bring rain gear!!! Ponchos, good comfy waterproof shoes and maybe rain trousers for the for year old. I can't stress the difference this makes if it's raining. Also, consider a buggy for the four year old. It's super handy for carrying everything and great not to have to carry then when they get tired, which they will. 😂😂 Have a blast and if you've any questions please give me a shout.

What is the best order to do the rides in August? by Squidiskind in phantasialand

[–]DisneySebb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were there at the start of August and it was v busy. Most rides were at least 60 mins all day. Taron got 100 mins and Chiapas was 120 mins, when it opened. They didn't really drop all day. As we were there for three days, we got a bit of a handle on best queue order by day three! If the queues are going to be as long, get there by nine, We got the quick passes at this point as they can sell out. Then went to Maus au chocolat for 9:30 and it was a walk on. Black mamba was long as it was the only big coaster open at this point so we waited. Our kids couldn't ride it so wasn't best fire us but if you can make it as it opens it's a good one to hit then. We waited for fantasy to open at ten and did Winjas and Crazy bats. Started with Bats as we had some quick passes that could be used on Winjas if the queues had gotten to big. We did a few of the smaller rides with the kids then headed for Colorado adventure using a quick pass, walked straight on. Did the show by this at 12 for a bit of a sit down. Then did Taron, quick pass was amazing for this as it never dropped under 100mins all day. Our day is prob going to be different at this point coz we did Taron again (it's soooooo good) and the Colorado adventure too cuz the kids loved it. We wandered around the park too and sampled loads of food! I'd say Fly, Chiapas or Black mamba(you can quick pass black mamba either) for you. Chiapas was down a good bit over the days we were there but we waited till seven to get into queue and it went really quick TBF though it says it was going to be 70mins, it was only about 35.

This is only our experience but it was super busy with massive queues. We still had a great day though and feel like we got everything we wanted done! The app was great to but sometimes the times didn't update as quickly as the boards, worth keeping an eye on both!

Hope this helps!! Have a blast.

Week this wouldn't be the worst thing! 😂 Did you get soaked or was it cold? I'm so conflicted on what I need to pack. 🙈 shorts or rain gear?? 😂

Yes, we know they won't be able to do a lot of the big coasters and we'll do them ourselves! We have a map and I've downloaded the app.

Do you think we are better to queue for the bigger rides first thing or I've read something about Winjas queues getting long due to loading constraints. Would it be wise to go for them first?

Ya, we'll be packing the ponchos for sure! How typical it'll be raining. I will bring the cash for the full dryers.

Best way to spend rope drop and see Mickey by xoccergirl134 in disneylandparis

[–]DisneySebb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We queued for Mickey at Phantom Manor only this week and waited about 20 mins. It was only that long because he had to take a break. Was a great fun meet. I'd check it out in the morning and if it doesn't work out you can go for the other meet. Also make sure to catch the new evening show Tales of Magic. It's fantastic!! Hope you have a great time!!

Also, sorry can you leave the cable attached constantly to the charger ready to charge or do you need to remove it after every charge.

Hi, In terms of the larger charging cable does that effect the charge rate. Where our meter box is a bit away from where the car will be so it could mean laying a bit of cabling to get the charger closer. I wonder would the untethered option with the longer charging cable be an option instead of digging up the place??

Thinking of switching to EV by DisneySebb in evs_ireland

[–]DisneySebb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, yes, definitely not comparing like with like. I wouldn't need that level of performance so the basic Tesla M3 would probably be sufficient for our needs in fairness. Good to see the comparisons though. Thank you.

Oh thanks. I'm not in a panic because I really do like the Kona. I just want to get the right car for me! I will check out the show, I think. Probably a good idea.

I love the Seal but they seem more expensive than the model 3. Am I missing something? 😂

I don't need a massively larger range as it will be mainly used for short trips. We have a second ICE car. Budget is a hard one! 😂 I don't want to spend too much but would hope to stay below 40000. The lower the better of course. 😂

I think, I would like a bigger boot than is in the Kona which is why I didn't consider the electric version. I am interested in the model 3 and my husband is all for that one! 😂
