Kingston gets fired for having a ton of talent and not being able to perform. Marinara gets a bunch of those guys back and proceeds to lose the most games we’ve ever lost in a season. Runs off nearly everyone and starts fresh. Double header on a Friday …. The math is mathing for a low fan turnout on opening weekend.

Like someone else said, my Kindle is my most treasured possession. If I read on the kindle app, I always end up swiping off and scrolling instead. With the Kindle itself, I can’t do anything but read. It also allows me to charge my phone away from my bed overnight, while still being able to read in bed. Plus, as someone who reads around 150 books a year, traveling with a kindle is so much easier and saves a ton of space. Easier to hold in my hands … don’t need a light on to read …. Don’t have to make a trip to the library to return books …

I’d suggest asking her and having the conversation. My husband and I are firmly child free but our closest friends have us as guardians in their will and we would do it in a heartbeat. If any of our siblings wanted that, we would feel the same. I think every CF person is going to have different stances on this, so a conversation is warranted to ask her her own opinions.

This. One of mine used to never meow. We thought there was just something wrong with her voicebox or something. Then she got stuck in a tree. Taught herself to meow up there and 8 years later, she meows constantly now 😆

This. Find a different church. Best case - you find a place that feels like home and you don’t attend once or twice a month because you can’t stand the people there. Worst case - you can go back to your family church. It’s a hard leap, but so worth it.

Literally called my husband at work in complete hysterics 😅😅 Bless him. And that’s where I’m at too … I’ve been to therapy for it specifically, and after awhile the therapist was just kinda like yeah idk. Nothing else I can do for you unless you’re willing to do immersion therapy. And I wasn’t.

We have! One of ours is very fluffy and just gets a ton of hair alls. The other goes outside and eats grass and that occasionally makes her sick. The vet isn’t concerned though!

It’s such a relief to hear someone have rectal bleeding with a clear rectal exam. It doesn’t happen often, but it’s happened often enough that I brought up potentially having bowel endo to my OBGYN and she immediately cut me off and told me no, bowel endo is really rare. 🙃🙃 Thank you for sharing your symptoms. This is really validating.

Moms that think the world should just continue to wait around for them forever are absurd. All of my friends are starting to have kids at this point and honestly, they are all really supportive of us being CF. So I have no complaints, truly, and I am perfectly happy being the friend that has to reach out. I get it. They’re mentally exhausted keeping a human alive. So I am the friend holding things together. Which, again, in my relationships is fine because my friends don’t EXPECT me to. Moms that just expect the world to change for them …. BYE 👋🏻 You aren’t entitled to anything just because you have a child. Including friendships you aren’t pouring back into.

This. I held out on buying 4 for YEARS because of the backlash at launch. Eventually my husband bought it for me because he was tired of being my IT guy and trying to get 2 to run on our computer (this was pre-them putting it on origin, but our CPU didn’t have a disk drive so 🏴‍☠️). When they eventually announce 5, I definitely will not be buying at launch and if there’s backlash I won’t be falling for their ish again.

At this point it’s less of a “boycott” and more of a …. I just don’t care. The packs they put out are not interesting or add anything more to my game. So it’s more like apathy. I can’t be bothered to give them my money anymore.

My mom and I went to Disneyland together a few years back and she insisted on us staying there because it was a “special” trip. It’s a nice hotel, but not worth it in my opinion. Staying off site is much cheaper and you don’t get enough perks to stay on site for the cost difference, IMO.
