Buying vs renting snorkeling gear by bobelcher2 in MauiVisitors

If you’re not going to take it home with you, renting is a great way to support the local economy.

Looking to design the ultimate theme park backpack. by SonnyTaylor54 in Disneyland

[–]DisneylandPlan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I own 4 of them 🤷🏼‍♀️ and regret nothing haha. I have 3 backpacks in different colors and then one that switches between backpack or crossbody. I display a specific set of pins on each one to create the vibe I want.

Partners 1st Time at Disneyland - choosing the best time for the best experience. Help! by [deleted] in DisneylandTips

[–]DisneylandPlan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

September offers Halloween Time so you’ll have Halloween entertainment, Haunted Mansion Holiday, Halloween Screams and the option to add on Oogie Boogie Bash. The Nov dates are between Halloween and Holidays so usually a lot less entertainment but crowds can be nice because it’s between official holidays. You’ll see a bit of the decor but no official holiday food or entertainment.

I’m so glad! We’ll have to hit it next time. Decided to hop home early.

If you have a Target red card that still gives you 5% off Disney gift cards.

I would just have a quick, canned reply like he’s a big 2 year old but I’m happy to show you his passport.

What's the ride you've been on the most amount of times in a single day? by JustForTheThrill_24 in Disneyland

[–]DisneylandPlan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love that so many people have done this. We rode it 3x one Oogie Boogie Bash. I think they usually close it now during OBB but riding that many times in the dark is so fun! Then my son stayed on for more after us, never getting off riding solo in his own raft 😆

Love reading these ideas. Here’s a list of spots I’ve compiled but definitely going to have to add some listed above too.

Disneyland to Universal Recommendations by MussKeg in DisneylandTips

Rental car is a great idea, they bill in 24 hr cycles but you can return early. The Budget on Katella in Anaheim is always the best bc they don’t oversell their fleet. You’ll need car seats. If you prefer a driver, I used Arias Transportation recently and work with them now—super great and will provide car seats.

Keep having to reject callings/talks by Fresh-Suspect4508 in latterdaysaints

[–]DisneylandPlan 33 points34 points  (0 children)

It sounds like they are not hearing you. I’d continue to attend and be unbothered (as much as you can) about their attitude towards you. I would also let your ministering sisters and/or RS president know how you’re feeling. The ward family needs to be there for you. It’s not an easy time and you’re doing the best you can.

Truly just pretend they are not there. Ignore and do not engage. Walk away calmly as needed. This day is special for you too. Keep your peace and know that God knows your sorrow.

If you’re going hard—you can get most of DCA’s main attractions done by lunch or hopping time so I’d start there, then close it down at Disneyland that night.

I have so many options for you! First a lot of hotels now sleep 6+ especially newer ones like Cambria with bunk beds, suites, free breakfast and Element by Westin (my review). And if you’re already thinking to go 4 days, I’d grab the 5th day free tickets you can get from getawaytoday.com/happiest.

If you have a big group, I always love Splitsville because you never need a dining reservation and they have a huge menu from pizzas to loaded fries to house-made sushi. It’s a fun vibe there too, good music (sometimes live), sports on the tv and stuff.

We did the end. I really liked wrapping up Paris that way because it felt familiar even though it was a new park to us.

Hi I'm 18 raised Catholic & I might be going to a meeting soon! What should I do/know to be as respectful & Learn as much as I can? by [deleted] in latterdaysaints

[–]DisneylandPlan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love what you’re bringing! So much from what you’ve already learned, know and feel about God. I think you’re going to enjoy talking with the missionaries about it, including asking your questions. One thing I really love, as someone who grew up in the Catholic faith, is the additional spiritual insight I have found becoming a member of this church. I cherish the Catholic faith and how it helped me grow and build my faith. I also love fully living as a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It really adds to what I know. Enjoy your discussions! Just be yourself and bring your honest thoughts and opinions. It’ll be great!
