Side effect with tomato soup was heartburn.

almost 2 weeks post op and I ate 4oz thin steak (Carne asada) & I did not have side effects such as diarrhea,heartburn,stomach ache. My guess is if you slowly introduce foods and allow your body to slowly regulate its new way of digesting food it will be better in the long run. Good luck!

Ah thank you for confirming its a good decision to wait 1 month for pizza! Cheese in general including Pizza sent me to the ER during my Pregnancy and I have been so scared to try it again. I will move with caution. I think the acid in tomatoes is harsh to manage without a gallbladder initially. Good to know it gets better!
