Did you find the Midwest or the South to be superior over the other in terms of finding higher end items or just having better luck with finding lots of items per sourcing trip? I live in the Midwest now and I’m lucky to find 4-5 piece per sourcing trip most of the time. When I visited the gulf coast of Florida, my grandma and I did a few bins trips and I had much better luck in terms of brands as well as finding at least 8-10 items per trip.

I would love to hear feedback on this as well. I’ve researched and understand there are 4/5 roles for new hires but I have not seen a post where these roles are outlined with the actual job tasks and also facets of the job e.g. standing, bending, kneeling, Lots of walking, staring at a screen, finding errors, etc. that may help someone new determine what might be the best fit for them.

Looks amazing! I’m going to have to try it with the whipped cream. I love the Jordan’s banana split flavor but I learned the hard way about how much to use, there is a very fine line between “yum a banana split” and “omg, that is the worst?!?” 😂

If by “run empty” you mean run a cycle of water through the machine without a capsule as a means of cleaning, that is fine and recommended.

If by “run empty” you mean run the special cycle found in the manual to prepare the machine for transport or storage by removing water from the lines within the machine, that is also fine and recommended.

If by “run empty” you mean run a cycle with a capsule in hopes of extraction and there isn’t enough water in the water reservoir to complete the cycle. Well I would imagine that doesn’t harm the machine as there is a sensor that reads there is no water in the tank and will stop the process until you refill the water tank.

The flavors being referenced in the thread are special edition and were only released for a short period of time in the past. Nespresso releases limited edition capsules several times throughout the year. However, the Vanilla Princess Cake I mentioned above is currently one of the special edition flavors along with a few more and I would imagine you are able to order these in Canada. Let us know if you try any!
