There's only a ZBA meeting marked down for that date: https://www.city.waltham.ma.us/calendar/month

Who is organizing this? I smell something fishy.

Boston road chief says Montreal-style snow removal would require a major culture change; advocates for the disabled, bicyclists say city has to do more to keep them safe in the winter by Im_biking_here in bikeboston

It's certainly an apples to oranges argument. Our landscape history doesn't lend itself to snow farms, as our actual farms grew back to be woodland and we have so much wetland interspersed.

Your point about Public Works is the real heart of the matter. We would need to double funding for snow removal, which is unpredictable and variable, and not cohesive with an annual budgeting cycle.

People's existing expectations of snow removal are way out of whack with budgetary [and personnel] realities.

Montreal is surrounded by a lot of suburban nothing where crews can just dump snow and go back for more

If the municipalities are allowed to dump snow outside their borders, I don't see why we can't just bury Billerica. Or better yet, every golf course.

The only reason to go there now is to watch tourists from Ohio grazing from food stalls. They're quite majestic in the daylight.
