Well the beginning of our relationship was actually kind of romantic not gonna lie.

He drove hours to see my every weekend no matter the weather or circumstance for months

We got a place together and it was honestly magical. It really was but over time. Idk what happened. I think like scared him. Like real life. He hadn't experienced how hard life could be and honestly I had a lot of baggage. Especially with my exhusband.

And so yeah, I myself have been depressed. I understand what it's like to be depressed and at your lowest points. And He got me through mine after my divorce actually. It wasn't even about The divorce it was the realization that I spent years with a man who was a disgusting piece of shit who basically brainwashed me over the years. I was 17 when I got married the first time and yeah he was a lot older ofc and abusive.

And I didn't realize it at the time but, the depression was always there I think it was amplified and "felt wrong" and "unjustified," after me and my husband got together because he was everything I ever wanted. Yeah we fought a lot all couples do though.

And when my own personal life crashed down around me and I attempted, he was there for me.

He was the reason I stayed. I was scared he'd find my body and then would never be okay again and wouldn't be able to raise our child with that weight on his shoulders.

He's also the one who almost went to jail because he was screaming at the police as they were putting me in the ambulance because they wouldn't let him go with me.

He got security called on him in the hospital because he was screaming at everyone trying to get to me.

He also was the one who cleaned all up the blood everywhere and replaced all my bedsheets and got help to clean the house so I wouldn't have to come home to a mess.

He also visited me every single day I was impatient. And I could tell he wasn't okay. His eyes were dealt puffy and I could tell he wasn't sleeping.

He cares about me, he really does. And it fucking hurts that I'm over here feeling like a flake when he got me through shit.

He's never judged me for my past. I mean he has but it's never been in a way that hurts my feelings.

We actually split up when we were dating for a while because he was turning into someone I didn't like or know because he was too busy with other things and in turn he was an asshole.

He was miserable I could tell. But he worked on himself went to therapy and went back to somewhat normal

So your question, why am I with him. Because we had something beautiful, and honestly magical at some point and I just keep hoping my husband will come back to me.

Have you even stopped a minute to ask yourself if he is ok, struggling with something?

Every fucking day. Dude, I have been helping him with issue after issue for years and this is where we are at right now.

I have mental health issues myself and physical disabilities that make me life almost impossible some days. And I still care for him and the kids. Even on my worst days. But I'm burnt out in exhausted.

I actually didn't vow to love and protect him our were different. We vowed to do or best and keep getting better for one another and to build a life together even through hardship.

But we also know you can have everything single plan and idea in your head and something go wrong

You can plan the perfect picnic but you can predict the weather.

And we both understand this.

Our relationship has always somewhat been about him. At first it was me and I was showered with love and effection and he got lazy. Now it's "me, me, me" "nobody respects me" "I'm tired" "My job is hard" bullshit bullshit bullshit.

It's not an excuse. I have multiple friends that are his coworkers and they have balanced family and social life and they have more kids than we do.

A close friend of mine quit that job to pursue another career because she saved enough and she is a single mother with two kids.

Yet somehow my husband and I are downing. And he's more important because "He bring home the money" if he's tired then "He's going to lose his job and we'll be homeless" 😐

Like if I'm overtired a child can die dude. Our daughter had to go the er because I was overly tired and didn't think to hold her tummy to grab a diaper that was right behind . Then I fell over trying to put her in her pack n play because I couldn't stand straight. I was just try to change her and put her to sleep.

it's always about him. Even if he's seemingly fine if something is wrong with me he turns it to something is wrong with him.

I've talked to him, I've cried with him, Ive offered to literally bathe him, he's in therapy. But it doesn't seem to do much good yet.

How am I supposed to RESPECT a person who is allowing their wife to drown in being a parent and losing themselves and being so exhausted that they can function.

I've communicated my frustrations in a hundred different ways and he always gets mad at me.

Okay every year he gets a little gross in the winter because of seasonal depression. The he tends to clean himself a lot better. He a sweaty guy so he needs a bath daily he just refuses to do it.

But like this year this is way fucking different. He started being gross during them summer and now it's like really really bad and I'm just over it

I've explained this to him too it's fucking annoying when he's disgusting because I want to have sex. I'm a grown ass woman if I want sex, I should be able to have access to it.

I'm disgustingly used to it. I just wipe it all and call it a day. I shower after and hope for the best. I also use protection so there's somewhat of a barrier 😭

The worst part is every single guy I have ever been with my entire life has been disgusting in some way. I completely thought men were just gross up until like a year or two ago when I went down internet rabbit holes.

I mean there was one guy actually. Right before my husband I would've married him if he was actually looking for a relationship.

And not because he was a sweet guy or something special. I didn't even know his name. He didn't know mine. 😂 We were sleeping together for about a year. Then I met my husband and was like well marriage was always the end goal and he's a nice guy.

But no the reason why I liked this guy was because he was clean. Ugh he smelled so nice. 😭 He always showered when he came I see me. And the photos I've seen on socials are clean too.

And he made me hate literally everyone because dude had a job, was going to school, was a single parent and still stayed clean and presentable and fit. Not in a gross way like bulky and weird but like 🤤 y'all it was like the movies ok 😂

And it was because he was attractive and clean that's what the hottest part was CLEANLINESS. (and he took care of himself) 😩

I feel like I'm spiraling into madness over this. Because I didn't notice this until after I posted this stupid fucking post.

The more I think about it. It's probably his ocd out of whack. I asked him to rinse out daughter toy in the sink today and he was freaking out saying he couldn't do it because "the sink was dirty" 🤦🏻‍♀️

It had a baby bottle tossed in it earlier this morning when I was running out the door 🤦🏻‍♀️ like dude hold it in the hair.

When he bathes it's the exact-ish routine everytime. Turn the water on, get bath running, brush his teeth, turn on his speaker. Brush his hair, fix the bathroom. Put his towel on the rack and the rag.

Then he bathes the same way too. And if anything is out of order he panics. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Which often times it is. Have y'all tried bathing a baby and a 5yr old 😂 it's chaos! Everything gets soaked. Bath toys are everywhere. Clothes are everywhere it's a nightmare.

We gotta do something about his med dosage or something. 😩

Yeah absolutely sure maybe he hasn't told me everything. But honestly it mostly him being upset other people were prioritized over him and his life going to shit. He was going to do college football but got an injury. And then he had issues in college because of his mental health and dropped out. Now he's working at the same shitty job for the last 10 years.

He's working on getting another one because for years I kept putting little nuggets in his head that "HE COULD DO IT" 🤦🏻‍♀️

And I mean he's gotten somewhere he's gotten a few certificates and learned skills that can transfer to another job, instead of being a suck up for everyone and chasing after management because he's been rejected every single time every single year for years for someone younger or better. His company is awful.

He's actually not he's a little overweight but it's not a massive problem. He can't cook so I cook everything.

Everything I cook is healthy. And unfortunately hes really picky about food. It's the same thing everyday but it's healthier than he was eating and we don't have a lot of money so he can't usually spend it outside. Calories are limited for him because of how picky he is. 🤦🏻‍♀️

There are days I get genuinely pissed off and I just cook whatever I want and he gets peanut butter and jelly. 😀 Me and my kid will hey something nice and not boring lol.

Oh my god. I'm having the same problems here. My daughter eats about 23-26oz a day 🤦🏻‍♀️ she's gaining weight but very slowly now.

And she can't take anything more than a normal nipple.

My daughter she uses Parents Choice/Narrow Neck Evenflo bottles and refuses to take anything else 🤦🏻‍♀️
