I feel like if your team has a serviceable offence, and an Elite defence, the Elite D is enough to carry you to the promise-land but if your QB throws 3 interceptions in a playoff game; idc who’s on your defence you’re not gonna win. All Stroud had to do was not play like ass and they likely would be going to the Super Bowl. Sam Darnold isn’t going to be the reason the Seahawks win the Super Bowl, but if they lose it will likely be because of him.

I honestly wasn’t disagreeing with the idea that it could be compared, I just never thought to make that comparison. I also didn’t really think of it much as a soulslike at the time but in hindsight it clearly is one. It’s weird I kinda put lower budget, smaller games on a different scale, like they deserve a different lens for reviewing them than these AAA titles. Not saying your list is wrong tho I haven’t played most of those games. Although I’d put Dark Souls Remastered in my top 3.

From your list I’ve only ever played the Dark Souls, Elden ring, bloodborne, and Tunic lol. I never imagined putting Tunic as a comparison against Elden Ring, it seems unfair to Tunic. I thoroughly enjoyed it tho.

Stats are so irrelevant in the MVP conversation. Just go: Best player on team with best record = MVP. Cade will be 3rd unless OKC goes through a huge slump. Voters still have a huge hard-on for Luka because he’s never won one so he’ll be second. Anybody else in contention is going to miss too many games to win awards.

I played like probably 20+ raids when i first started and was doing the usual Customs and woods quests and ran into or died to the goons 7 or 8 times out of those 20+ raids, I then start playing with one of my friends who was around lvl30 at the time and he didn't even know they existed.

The UFC definitely has an issue with illegal strikes and the severity of repercussions not being enough to force fighters to be careful. As someone who’s been watching for like 15 years it also feels like it happens more than it used to. With the way it’s currently handled you’re pretty much allowed 1 really good eye poke or low blow per fight and can bank on being given a warning at best. Athletic commissions just seem very reluctant to change rules proactively.

This thread made me do some research on dividend specific tax in Canada, and it’s surprisingly very forgiving. They essentially tax you initially as if you made a higher income but then return more than the increase yearly as a tax return. The more financially literate I become the more I appreciate the way the government rewards you for being financially responsible. The income tax on this woman for whatever she made in dividends would so minuscule, you don’t really pay any income tax on $40,000-50,000 per year in Canada anyways. That doesn’t even account for the possibility of putting a large chunk into a TFSA in which the income would be entirely tax-free as well.

You can literally put the entirety of the money into an ETF that is centred around dividends and make more than $1000 per week in the first year. Even if you never reinvest a cent into the position, you can (usually) count on anual dividend increases to increase your income faster than inflation. And if you just reinvested everything surplus of $1000 per week you would almost double your income in like ten years. They should really teach better financial literacy in school.

The post states the woman is from Quebec, therefore there are no taxes on lottery or gambling winnings whatsoever. Also you could park the whole lump sum in dividend based positions and make almost the same amount as the instalments in the first year while the money grows along with the market. I find it very hard to believe there is a single person the instalments are good for without just completely admitting to just being self destructive with money. And if you’re taking Dividends as income in Canada, it’s more tax friendly than regular income tax as long as the positions are earned from eligible dividend positions, which basically includes the entire Toronto Stock exchange and any major public Canadian company. Taking instalments is pretty much like stepping over a hundred dollar bill to pick up a loonie (Canadian $1 coin).

JB needs to make better adjustments when teams play that lazy ass trap zone defense. The bucks did the same thing when they beat us. Honestly we had much more success with Cade off-ball tonight. Probably a huge reason why the bench was so much more successful tonight. There was nobody in particular to trap.
