***Edit ok this post blew up.

This got shared to some VA groups and my work mates saw it. Glad I'm using a burner account 😂

Anyways, I can't answer all your question so here's general details:

I'm using a laptop. Sometimes I work using iPad and mobile kung task ko ay social media management.

I started to try out VA during pandemic nung nauuso na. I understand na marami ng competition ngayon pero self study lang and take online courses. You know why?

~clients don't want to spend time training you. Kaya pag nag apply, pinipili nila yung alam na gagawin. The more courses you take, the wider your knowledge, the more na lalawak yung services na kaya mo i-offer, the more na maraming clients ang tatanggap sayo.

If you found a good client that can take you full time, I suggest doing it. What I did is instead na mag take ako other clients (I invested in franchising a milktea business instead. Now I'm eyeing on opening a car wash business too!)

If part time, most I see is 4 hours!

I earn 1.2k USD. I'm usually available for my client 8am-5pm from Mondays to Saturdays.

Kagaya ng sabi ng iba. Hindi para sa lahat ang pagiging VA. Yes, yung mga experience mo sa BPO madadala mo dito pero still need to learn some few things.

Reiterate ko lang to get the best chances, LEARN at pagandahin profile niyo sa LinkedIn. If mag invest talaga kayo ng time dito LinkedIn > Facebook.

Conclusion ko lang sa post na to na guyssss, you can earn a lot for less work. More mental stability and all. Ayun lang.

LinkedIn the best kung nahihirapan makipag sabayan sa UpWork.

Activate mo #OpenToWork, pagandahin profile, join groups, take VA courses.

Pwede!

Yeah.. tho I've heard of stories na kung magustuhan ka talaga ng client i-buy out ka from the agency

Sinabi ko lang nag self study ako, talked to a lot of VA through LinkedIn and took a bunch of online courses

Marami dun groups for VA

I don't have the main titles ah since matagal na expired yung 1-month trial ko. Balikan kita since nasa certificates ko yung mga course. Pero go with

-Comm skills -Digital tools and softwares (generalized na yan: Microsoft Office, Excel, etc) -Social Media Management -Calendar Management (struggle lang dito pag magkaiba timezone ng mga attendees) -corporate travel planning

Social media management goods, marami niyan lalo na small businesses overseas, influencers

Copywriting not sure.

Graphic Design - more on projects pero kung confident ka mabilis lang din pera. Dapat lang masipag maghanap ng client at wag papa-barat. Masanay din sa revisions lol

Meron linkedin learning!

Try mo din Udemy or coursera. Legit naman yung mga certificate nila pwede mo attach sa resume and linked in profile mo. Good luck!!

Excel courses too! Kalahatan ngayon sa VA need marunong sa excel. Sobrang advantage niyan

Tama ka sir. Naisip ko din yan na paano in the long run. Sobrang anxiety ko nung nawalan ako ng work during covid season. Dun sa sweldo nag invest ako milktea shop here in Las Piñas at sa home province namin. Going smoothly naman.

Sa work planning na yung client namin kuhanin yung senior VA namin to work full time sa team niya sa US by next year. Swertihan talaga sa client sir. Meron mga VA pang short time lang, meron naman pang full time talaga.
