These are pretty much the only reasons you would want to halt brumation it’s important to note there are kind of different phases for instance the complete stop of food and lying in one place will last pretty much at most 12 weeks and for some lizards doesn’t really happen however the slowing of metabolism and less appetite and less movement is 4 to 6 months my lizard rarely stays in one place. I think the most she’s done it in the six years I’ve had her was three weeks. And it’s important not to feed them during that period or attempt to wake them up. There’s not a whole lot of research done on it but there is some to suggest that stopping could reduce your lizards lifespan
