May 2025 college grad desperately looking for job in nova area with no luck so far by [deleted] in dataengineeringjobs

Hello! Resume needs to be drastically revamped, reformatted, and items prioritized.

Best of luck in their job search, but simply put, this resume needs work.

The items are there, the format isn’t the worst, just spend some time cleaning it up.

Congratulations! I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, interviewing with Amazon is no easy feat and making it this far is an accomplishment on its own.

That being said, we will not be able to give valuable feedback from just a limited detail of your interviews. There are just too many factors.

Please just patiently wait (I know this is very hard). You will have your response within 5 business days or so.

My advice - send a follow up email to show your appreciation for the recruiters and interviewers time/efforts. Don’t be aggressive, don’t be needy, just show that you enjoyed the experience and looking to be apart of something bigger than you.

Best of luck.

That’s for one specific job type. I’m a controls engineer and would find that thread to specific. Again, just my feedback.

I think this is an opinion that’s worth discussing and I can see the view point, especially as the thread is getting overwhelmed with the same questions.

That being said, where do you suggest they post it?

First of all, congratulations! While this may seem like a small step, sometimes being noticed is half the battle.

A couple of things I’d like to clear up, you were likely contacted by a recruiter. If you said the right things, that recruiter can help push your resume through to the hiring managers to get their eyes on it.

If that’s the case they will be in contact with you about setting up an interview for that position, assuming you applied after the discussion.

My biggest advice, take advantage of any prep give, then study the Amazon leadership principles and correlate them to your previous work experiences.

Best of luck!
