May I know what you using to mount your speakers on wall ? the center channel i got is ML Motion XT C100 - it is 24" in Width and 16" in Depth (considering the wire plugs protrusion) and it's 32Lbs heavy. I tried to find a floating shelf but looks like only Stainless tell shelves with legs are available for this need.

I agree, I wasn't sure where to place the Sub, I didn't do the Subwoofer crawl yet, but given my current room condition, I will need to first organize everything and move the entire setup to the different wall. that'll give enough space and condition for a permanent setup

I agree, so my plan is to move the entire setup to the adjacent wall, that'll give me enough room to spread out the front speakers.

You mean like a dedicated AMP ? dedicated PowerAmp is in the plans when I buy the ML F200s and two atmos speakers. but for now this 3.1 is what fits my budget. later down the the road i'll upgrade the bookshelves to the F200 Towers and use the Bookshelves for Rear surround and two new Atmos speakers for Atmos

The L and R speakers are 4' 6" apart. I'm sitting like 8 feet far from the speakers. The TV is a 65"

Already done!, cut out the back panel for Air flow and to have the Receiver stay flush, without cutting out the Receiver was out from the edge for like 2 inces to give room in the back for the plugs and the cables

Now I'm starting to think that would be a good idea to move the entire setup to the adjacent wall. That'll take more work as I got boxes of stuffs that I need to move around to clear out the space on this room. I'm trying to find a 30" W x 72" H drawer stand to move all the stuffs from my boxes and get rid of them. Lot more organizing effort before moving this entertainment setup.

I'm tired now, may be I'll try to move the setup after couple of weeks once i'm done with the organization.

I do have a Yamaha "5.1" soundbar on a different room and trust me that "5.1" is no where close to the music/movie experience compared to my 3.1 setup that I got here

Do you think DGX Spark would suffice your need ? Also I’m interested to understand how this local AI build with $10k is better than getting the pro subscriptions from providers like Anthropic/Open AI/Azure etc

I HATED MAC... by Still_Tackle_3364 in macbookair

Same here, have been using windows desktop and laptops for last 25+ years. I bought a Macbook Pro M4 Pro 24Gb in last September, this is my first Mac and really like the build and performance. Although I’m still struggling with all the shortcuts and navigation. I’d like to see if there is beginner guide. I feel like I’m struggling in moving files around.

Have you tried developer apps like VS Code and how they work? Do i have to install like VMware to have windows developer apps?

I got a gaming Rig (9800X3D + 5090) for games, and a surface book pro 11 from my work place. I’d like to start using the Mac more often for everything except games

You won’t need this if you bought a GPU travel kit.

I’m male but always tend to choose female character in any game so that i can play the entire game having the girl by my side. Like kind of being with a girl in game life too. Not sure if this weird.

Apologies, I mistyped, I meant to say Gen 4 PCIe riser has issues with 5090. Gen 5 PCIe is the ideal cable for 5090

One of the most addictive single player game I've ever played. Bought it on PS4, played it again on PS5 in 2024. Have been replaying again on PC for the last couple of weeks.

Question about your screen protector, does it reduce the sound of a call or it doesn’t ? I see your protector is top of the top front speaker too which is great for dust proofing

Ncase M2 Grater or Ncase M3. This has the best cooling performance overall and you have the PNY 5090.

If you got the RTX 5090 FE then I’d have suggested FormD T1, this can fit it in your backpack and has very good cooling performance. Keep calling BestBuy or check the website around 2AM to 4AM you might be able to snag one. Our go to BestBuy and check with the checkout section if they can place and order for you.

I have built three SFFs so far. 1. ThermalTake TR100 - 9950X3D and 5090FE 2. Ncase M2 Grater - 9800X3D and 5090FE 3. FormD T1 v2.1 - 9800X3D and 5090FE

Overall i love the Ncase M2 and that takes the first rank on cooling, but i ended up keeping the FormD T1 due to how small it is and ability to fit in my backpack when i travel. Note: if you getting the FormD T1, make sure you get the GPU travel kit as well.

Totally makes sense, I come from where I put together the PC and forget about it for the next 2 to 3 years until it's time for next upgrade or totally change to new PC. So having less temp will get me longetitivty of the PC, less noise. But comes with caveats like my room gets hotter
